Winn made a name for himself, playing for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays from 1998 to 2002. He demonstrated his versatility as an outfielder, played all three positions in the outfield, and was a strong batter, hitting 14 home runs and 26 stolen bases during the 2000 season. Winn earned a reputation as a reliable and consistent performer and was therefore traded to the Seattle Mariners in 2003. He retired in 2010 and currently works as a Studio Analyst on MLB Network.
