Rich Kelley Autographs
Rich Kelley is a former American Professional Basketball player, who was born on March 23, 1953, in California. Kelley was a standout college basketball player for Stanford University in the 1970s. Throughout his collegiate career, Kelley was one of the best players in the Pac-10 conference, earning All-American honorable mentions in 1974 and 1975.
Kelley was drafted by the New Orleans Jazz in the 1975 NBA draft as the 13th overall pick. He played in the NBA for nine seasons as a Center/Power Forward for the Utah Jazz and the San Diego/Los Angeles Clippers. He averaged 7.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game during his NBA career. Kelley was part of the 1980 USA men’s basketball team that won the gold medal in the Moscow Olympics. After retiring from basketball, Kelley worked as a coach and a broadcaster for various teams in the NBA.
Rich Kelley will always be remembered as one of the all-time great basketball players at Stanford University. He was the cornerstone of the Stanford basketball program in the 1970s and helped the Cardinal become one of the best teams in the country. His outstanding achievements, which include being a two-time All-American in 1974 and 1975, made him a beloved figure in the entire Stanford community. Kelley is also remembered for his hard work and dedication which always inspired his teammates and coaches both on and off the court.
