Rick Camp announced his retirement from MLB after the 1985 season, although he attempted a comeback in 1987 with the San Diego Padres, which was unsuccessful. He played in a total of 407 games, pitching 1052 innings and earning 56 wins and 49 losses. He had an impressive career marked by personal and professional accomplishments, demonstrating his dedication and commitment to the love of baseball.
