Andino had a great career in the Minor League and was named as the Marlins' Minor League Player of the Year in 2008. However, he was traded to the Baltimore Orioles in 2009. This turned out to be a pivotal moment in his baseball career as he became an essential player for the Orioles. In September 2011, Andino hit a game-winning single against the Boston Red Sox, a hit that would give Baltimore the chance to compete in the playoffs. It was also a huge upset as the Red Sox were the favorites to win that game and most likely make it to the postseason.

In 2013, Andino signed a minor-league contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates and was then traded to the Seattle Mariners. He played his last Major League game on September 28, 2016, before becoming a free agent. Despite his brief stint in baseball, Andino made his mark as a valuable player, especially for the Baltimore Orioles. His contributions during the 2011 season will always be remembered by Orioles fans as one of the most extraordinary moments in the team's history. Read even more about Robert Andino at Wikipedia
