Roberto Alomar is a former professional baseball player from Puerto Rico who spent 17 seasons in the Major League Baseball (MLB). Alomar debuted with the San Diego Padres in 1988 at the age of 20, but it wasn't until he was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays in 1991 that he started garnering attention for his skills. During his tenure with the Blue Jays, Alomar won back-to-back World Series championships in 1992 and 1993.
