Robinson Chirinos is a professional baseball player who currently plays as a catcher for the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball (MLB). Born on June 5, 1984, in Punto Fijo, Venezuela, Chirinos began his professional career in 2001 as a shortstop with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He converted to a catcher and played in their minor league system until he was traded to the Chicago Cubs in 2010. Later, Chirinos joined the Texas Rangers in 2013, where he played for six seasons before signing with the Houston Astros in 2019 and moving to the Yankees in 2021. More about Robinson Chirinos
