Roger Craig Autographs

Roger CraigRoger Craig was a professional baseball pitcher who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1955 to 1966. He spent most of his career with the Brooklyn Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants, but also played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, and St. Louis Cardinals. Craig was known for his competitive spirit, durability, and ability to pitch effectively in relief.
Craig had his best seasons with the Giants in the early 1960s, where he was primarily used as a relief pitcher. In 1962, he had a career-best 2.78 earned run average (ERA) and led the National League with 46 appearances. He was a key member of the Giants team that won the National League pennant in 1962 and advanced to the World Series, where they ultimately lost to the New York Yankees.
After retiring from playing, Craig went on to have a successful career as a coach and manager. He served as the pitching coach for several MLB teams, including the San Diego Padres, Detroit Tigers, and Texas Rangers. He also managed the San Francisco Giants from 1985 to 1988 and the expansion Florida Marlins in their inaugural season in 1993. Craig's contributions to the sport of baseball both as a player and coach have made him a beloved figure in the sport's history.
