Ronald Ray Fairly was born on July 12, 1938, in Macon, Georgia. He was a professional baseball player who played as an outfielder and first baseman in the Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1958 to 1978. Fairly started his baseball career playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers, where he played from 1958 to 1969.
