Ron Wotus is a former American baseball player and coach. He was born on March 3, 1961, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Wotus played professional baseball for 10 seasons, primarily in the minor leagues with the Pirates and the Montreal Expos organizations. He was known for his defensive skills and was a two-time minor league All-Star. He retired as a player in 1992 and immediately began his coaching career with the Pirates organization.

Wotus joined the San Francisco Giants coaching staff in 1998 as the third-base coach. In 1999, he became the bench coach and has held that position ever since. Wotus has been an integral part of the Giants’ success during their three World Series championships in 2010, 2012, and 2014. He's widely respected for his knowledge of the game and has been a mentor to many young players.
