Ryan Flaherty Autographs
Ryan Flaherty is a former American professional baseball player. Born on July 27, 1986, in Portland, Maine, Flaherty grew up with a passion for baseball, playing for several teams throughout his youth. He attended Vanderbilt University and played for the Vanderbilt Commodores. In the 2008 Major League Baseball draft, Flaherty was selected by the Chicago Cubs as the 41st overall pick.
Flaherty made his Major League Baseball debut on May 18, 2012, for the Baltimore Orioles. During his rookie season, he played in 77 games and batted .216 with six home runs and 19 RBI. In 2013, Flaherty started in 78 games and produced a .224 batting average with 10 home runs and 27 RBI. Over the course of his six-year career, which spanned the Cubs, Orioles, and Philadelphia Phillies, Flaherty appeared in 596 games and batted .216 with 35 home runs and 128 RBI.
Flaherty officially announced his retirement from baseball on May 10, 2021, after spending the previous year as a free agent. Despite never being a superstar player, Flaherty was known for his versatile skills and ability to play multiple positions, which made him a valuable asset to his respective teams. He left a lasting impression on the baseball world and is remembered by many as a hardworking, humble, and dedicated player.
