Scott Bradley Autographs
Scott Bradley is a former professional baseball player and current coach who was born on March 22, 1960, in Montclair, New Jersey. Bradley attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he played college baseball and was named the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Player of the Year in 1981. He was then drafted by the New York Yankees in the third round of the 1981 MLB draft.
Bradley played in the Major Leagues for ten seasons as a catcher for the Yankees, Seattle Mariners, and Cincinnati Reds. He is perhaps best known for his time with the Mariners, where he was the team's starting catcher from 1986 to 1988. Bradley was a solid defensive catcher and was known for his strong arm, which helped him throw out 43% of attempted base stealers over the course of his career.
After retiring from playing, Bradley went into coaching and has been a successful college coach for over two decades. He spent 18 seasons as the head coach of the Princeton Tigers baseball team, leading them to six Ivy League titles and four NCAA tournament appearances. He currently serves as an assistant coach for the Boston Red Sox, where he has been since 2018. Bradley's passion for baseball and his ability to mentor young players has made him a respected figure in the world of baseball coaching.
