Scott Cousins Autographs
Scott Cousins is a former professional baseball outfielder who played for the Miami Marlins, Los Angeles Angels, and San Francisco Giants. Born on January 22, 1985, in Reno, Nevada, Cousins attended the University of San Francisco and was drafted by the Marlins in the third round of the 2006 MLB draft. He quickly rose through the ranks of the Marlins' minor league system and made his major league debut in 2010.
Cousins is perhaps best known for a controversial play during a 2011 game against the Giants. In the 12th inning, he collided with Giants catcher Buster Posey while trying to score the game-winning run, resulting in a season-ending injury for Posey. Cousins had received death threats following the incident but continued to play for several more seasons before retiring in 2015. He finished his career with a .179 batting average, 3 home runs, and 22 RBIs.
Off the field, Cousins is known for his involvement in various charitable organizations, including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He is also a certified personal trainer and continues to work in the fitness industry in retirement. Cousins' dedication to the sport of baseball and his commitment to giving back to his community have made him a respected figure in the world of professional sports.
