Shane Baz Autographs
Shane Baz is an American baseball player who currently plays as a pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball. Born on June 17, 1999, in Cypress, Texas, Shane Baz attended Concordia Lutheran High School in Tomball, Texas, where he honed his skills as a baseball player. As a senior in high school, Shane recorded an ERA of 0.93 and recorded 113 strikeouts in 60 innings pitched. In recognition of his talent, Shane was selected to play in the 2017 Under Armour All-American Game, where he showcased his skills to college recruiters and professional scouts.
Following his high school graduation in 2017, Shane Baz committed to play college baseball at Texas Christian University. However, he was eventually drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the first round (12th overall) of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft. He chose to forego college and signed a contract with the Pirates that included a signing bonus of $4.1 million. He made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast League Pirates and later played for the West Virginia Black Bears in 2018.
In 2018, Shane Baz was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays as part of a trade that also involved Chris Archer. He played for the Bowling Green Hot Rods in 2019 and the Hudson Valley Renegades in 2021. Shane’s performances on the field attracted the attention of the Tampa Bay Rays, who promoted him to the Major League team in September 2021. He made his Major League debut on September 20, 2021, against the Toronto Blue Jays. So far, Shane Baz has had a promising career as a baseball player, and fans and analysts alike are excited to see what he will achieve in the years to come.
