Stephen Fife Autographs
Stephen Fife is a former American professional baseball pitcher, who was born on October 4, 1986, in Boise, Idaho. He attended the University of Utah, where he played college baseball as a starting pitcher. He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the third round of the 2008 MLB draft.
Fife made his debut in Major League Baseball on July 17, 2012, for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He played in 21 games for the Dodgers between 2012 and 2014, posting a 4-6 record with a 3.66 ERA. He also played for the Tacoma Rainiers, a minor league baseball team of the Seattle Mariners, for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Fife ended his career in 2016 after undergoing Tommy John surgery on his right elbow.
Although his career in the major leagues was short, Fife was known for his fastball and his ability to pitch effectively against left-handed hitters. He was well-respected by his teammates and coaches alike for his work ethic and his dedication to the game. Fife continues to be involved in baseball today, serving as a coach and mentor to young players, and remains an inspiration to many aspiring baseball players around the country.
