Steve Buechele Autographs
Steve Buechele is a former American baseball player who played in Major League Baseball for thirteen seasons. He was born on September 26, 1961, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Buechele attended Stanford University and was selected by the Texas Rangers in the fifth round of the 1982 MLB Draft. He made his MLB debut with the Rangers in 1985 and continued to play for them until 1991. Buechele played third base and was known for his exceptional fielding skills.
During his baseball career, Steve Buechele played for four different teams. After leaving the Rangers, he played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cubs, and finally for the Houston Astros. Throughout his career, Buechele had a batting average of .244 with 137 home runs and 784 RBIs. He had a strong reputation as a great defensive player, winning the Gold Glove award in 1989. Buechele was always known as a team player, working hard to help his team win.
After ending his playing career, Steve Buechele became a coach. He spent several years coaching college teams before working in the minor leagues. In 2013, he was appointed as the manager of the Frisco RoughRiders, a Double-A Minor League Baseball affiliate of the Texas Rangers. Buechele had a successful managerial career, leading the RoughRiders to win the league title in 2017. In 2018, he was promoted to be the bench coach for the Texas Rangers. Steve Buechele is now retired from baseball, but his legacy as both a player and coach is still remembered.
