Thad Bosley Autographs
Thad Bosley is a former baseball player who was born on September 17, 1956, in the United States. Bosley attended Lake Brantley High School and played baseball during his college years. In 1974, he was signed by the California Angels as an amateur free agent. Bosley started as an outfielder for the Angels in 1977 and played for six seasons before being traded to the Chicago Cubs.
As a Cub, Bosley was known for his pinch hitting skills and became a valuable player off the bench. He played for the Cubs from 1983 to 1985, during which he had his career-best performance with a .296 batting average in 1984. After leaving the Cubs, Bosley played with several other teams, including the Milwaukee Brewers, Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and Kansas City Royals. Over his fourteen-year career, Bosley played in nearly 1,000 games, with a batting average of .272, 17 home runs, and 201 RBIs.
After retiring from baseball, Thad Bosley coached for the Oakland Athletics, Cincinnati Reds, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, and Texas Rangers. He served as a hitting coach and outfield coordinator for several teams, including the Chicago White Sox and the Los Angeles Angels. Bosley was also inducted into the Lake Brantley Sports Hall of Fame in 1992, recognizing his achievements as a student-athlete. Today, he keeps himself busy as a motivational speaker and shares his wisdom and experiences with young players aspiring to play professional baseball.
