Toby Hall Autograph

Toby Hall is a former professional baseball catcher who played for Major League Baseball (MLB) from 2000 to 2008. Born in Tacoma, Washington in 1975, Toby played baseball in the High School All-American Game in 1991 and was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the ninth round of the 1997 MLB draft. Throughout his career, Toby Hall was known for his strong arm and solid defense as a catcher. He had a career fielding percentage of .994 and threw out over 38% of base stealers. Hall also had a respectable batting record, with a career average of .262 and 46 home runs in 638 games played. He was also recognized for his leadership skills on the field, which earned him a role as captain of the Devil Rays in 2006.

After playing for the Devil Rays, Hall was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2006, where he played for two seasons before being signed by the Chicago White Sox in 2008. Unfortunately, his career was cut short by injuries, and he announced his retirement from baseball in 2010.
