Todd Ritchie Autographs
Todd Ritchie is a retired American professional baseball pitcher who played in Major League Baseball for ten seasons between 1998 and 2004. Ritchie was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, on November 7, 1971, and attended Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas. During his high school career, Ritchie was an outstanding athlete and played both basketball and baseball. He went on to attend Duncanville High School, where he continued his successful baseball career before being drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the first round of the 1990 Major League Baseball draft.
Ritchie made his Major League debut in 1998 with the Twins and spent two seasons with the team before being traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2000. It was with the Pirates that Ritchie had his most successful season in the Major Leagues, starting 35 games, winning 15, and earning a 3.49 ERA. After spending three seasons with the Pirates, Ritchie was traded again, this time to the Milwaukee Brewers. He spent one season with the Brewers before being traded yet again, this time to the Devil Rays in 2004. However, his career with the Devil Rays was short-lived, and he retired from baseball after the season.
Throughout his career, Todd Ritchie was known as a hard-working, dedicated pitcher who always gave his best effort on the mound. While injuries and inconsistency limited his success at times, Ritchie was a reliable starter who always had the potential to turn in a dominant performance. Despite retiring from baseball over 15 years ago, Ritchie is still remembered as a talented pitcher who was a valuable asset to any team he played for.
