Tom Gorman is a former American professional baseball player who was born on May 20, 1930, in Staten Island, New York. He played as a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball for a total of ten seasons, from 1952 to 1962. Gorman began his career with the New York Yankees in 1952, and he went on to play for four different teams throughout his career, including the Kansas City Athletics, the Baltimore Orioles, and the Detroit Tigers.
