Tony Cingrani Autographs
Tony Cingrani is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for multiple teams during his career. Born on July 5, 1989 in Evergreen Park, Illinois, Cingrani attended high school in western Pennsylvania, where he played both baseball and basketball. He later attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana, now known as the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he continued to play baseball.
Cingrani was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the third round of the 2011 MLB draft and made his major league debut with the team in 2012. He played for the Reds from 2012 to 2017, primarily as a relief pitcher. During his time with the Reds, Cingrani was known for his impressive strikeout rate and his ability to consistently throw a fastball at speeds of around 94 miles per hour. He also played briefly for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the St. Louis Cardinals before announcing his retirement from baseball in 2021.
Throughout his baseball career, Cingrani faced several challenges and injuries. In 2016, he was sidelined for several weeks due to a shoulder injury, and he struggled with shoulder tightness during his time with the Dodgers.
