Tyler Flowers Autographs
Tyler Flowers is an American former professional baseball catcher who played in Major League Baseball from 2009 to 2020. Born on January 24, 1986, in Roswell, Georgia, Flowers attended Blessed Trinity Catholic High School and was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 33rd round of the 2005 Major League Baseball draft. In 2009, Flowers made his Major League debut with the Chicago White Sox.
Flowers played for the White Sox from 2009 to 2015, serving primarily as a backup catcher. In 2016, he signed with the Braves as a free agent and spent four seasons with the team. He made his first All-Star Game appearance in 2018, hitting .269 with 10 home runs and 35 RBIs before the break. Flowers retired after the 2020 season, finishing his career with a .230 batting average, 86 home runs, and 301 RBIs in 825 games.
Flowers was known for his solid defensive skills and ability to work with pitchers. He was also praised for his leadership qualities and work ethic. Flowers was a critical component of the Braves' success in 2018 when the team won the National League East title. While his career statistics may not rank him among the all-time greats, Tyler Flowers was a valuable player who consistently contributed to his teams' success.
