Vic Correll Autographs
Vic Correll was a professional baseball player born on September 20, 1946, in Decatur, Georgia. He attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta and played baseball for the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels. After college, Correll was signed by the Atlanta Braves in 1968.
Correll played minor league baseball for several years before making his major league debut in September 1972. He played as a catcher for the Atlanta Braves until 1977. During his time with the Braves, Correll was known for his solid defensive skills and his ability to handle the team's pitching staff. He was also a good hitter, with a career batting average of .260 and 28 home runs.
After leaving the Braves, Correll played for the Toronto Blue Jays in 1978 before retiring from professional baseball. He continued to be involved in baseball as a coach and scout for several years. Correll passed away on November 9, 1995, at the age of 49. He is remembered as a talented catcher and a dedicated baseball player.
