Willie Aikens

Willie Aikens was a professional baseball player who was born in Seneca, South Carolina, in 1954. He began his baseball career in high school, and he went on to play at the collegiate level for South Carolina State University. After playing in the minors for a few years, Aikens made his Major League debut with the California Angels in 1977. Aikens' career highlights include his win of the World Series with the Kansas City Royals in 1980, during which he hit four home runs and batted .400.
