Acie Law Autographs
Acie Law is a retired professional basketball player who played as a point guard in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born on January 25, 1985, in Dallas, Texas, Law started playing basketball during his high school days at Kimball High School in Dallas. He went on to attend Texas A&M University, which is where his basketball career flourished. During his college career, Law was named the Big 12 Conference Player of the Year twice and led Texas A&M to the NCAA tournament twice. He also helped Texas A&M set numerous school records, including most wins in a single season.
After a successful college career, Law entered the 2007 NBA Draft, where he was selected by the Atlanta Hawks as the 11th overall pick. He played for the Hawks from 2007 to 2009, before being traded to the Golden State Warriors. While he didn't have a noteworthy NBA career, Law still had some memorable moments, including a game-winning three-point shot against the Boston Celtics in 2008. He also played professionally overseas, including stints in China, Italy, and Puerto Rico, where he was a key player for his respective teams.
Despite a relatively short NBA career, Acie Law is still remembered as one of the best basketball players to come out of Texas A&M University. He was inducted into the Texas A&M Hall of Fame in 2016, cementing his legacy as a top-tier college basketball player. Law now uses his experience and expertise to help aspiring young athletes through his Academics in Motion (AIM) Foundation, which focuses on helping high school and college students achieve their academic and athletic goals.
