Amile Jefferson Autographs
Amile Jefferson is a professional basketball player who was born on May 7, 1993, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He began his basketball career in high school, where he played for William Penn Charter School. He was a four-year starter and helped lead the team to back-to-back Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association Championships. He was named the Gatorade Pennsylvania Player of the Year in his senior season, and he was ranked the No. 24 player in the country by ESPN.
After high school, Jefferson attended Duke University, where he played for the Blue Devils from 2012 to 2017. During his time at Duke, he became known as a versatile forward who could play both inside the paint and on the perimeter. In his senior season, he averaged 10.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per game while shooting 61.1% from the field. Jefferson helped lead Duke to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including a national championship in 2015. He finished his college career ranked seventh in Duke history in rebounds with 951 and eighth in blocks with 140.
Jefferson went undrafted in the 2017 NBA draft, but he eventually signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the 2017 NBA Summer League. He has since played in the NBA G League and signed a two-way contract with the Orlando Magic in 2019, where he played in nine games. He is currently playing in Japan for the Chiba Jets of the B.League. Despite facing setbacks and challenges throughout his basketball career, Amile Jefferson has continued to work hard and pursue his dreams of playing at the highest level possible.
