Andre Emmett Autographs
Andre Emmett was born on August 27, 1982, in Dallas, Texas, and he was an American professional basketball player. He was renowned for his scoring ability and athleticism while playing basketball in high school, and he took his skills to the college ranks at Texas Tech University. While at Texas Tech, Andre became one of the best players in the country and was named to the All-Big 12 team twice.
In 2004, Andre Emmett was selected in the second round of the NBA draft by the Seattle SuperSonics. Even though he had a strong rookie season for the Sonics, he was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in his second year. After playing with the Grizzlies, Andre went on to play overseas in China and Puerto Rico. In 2006, he then returned to the NBA and signed a contract with the New Jersey Nets, but he was eventually waived. After a few years obtaining the experience overseas, Emmett was given another opportunity in the NBA in 2012 by the Memphis Grizzlies, but he only played for a short duration.
Andre Emmett continued to make a name for himself in the basketball world by playing in various basketball competitions worldwide, such as the The Basketball Tournament and the BIG3 league. On September 23, 2019, however, the basketball community was saddened as Andre passed away at the age of 37, after he was shot and killed. Despite the tragic circumstances of his death, his basketball career will always be remembered fondly by his fans, who recognized his energy, hard work, and persistence on and off the court.
