Andy Rautins Autographs
Andy Rautins is a former Canadian professional basketball player who was born in Syracuse, New York, in 1986. He grew up playing basketball, and was a standout player at Jamesville-DeWitt High School in Syracuse. Rautins then went on to play college basketball at Syracuse University, where he played from 2005 to 2010. During his time at Syracuse, Rautins was a key player for the Orange, setting several school records and helping the team make the NCAA Tournament in 2009 and 2010.
After graduating from Syracuse in 2010, Rautins was drafted by the New York Knicks in the second round of the NBA Draft. He played for the Knicks for one season, but saw limited playing time. Rautins then bounced around several different teams, including the Dallas Mavericks, the Atlanta Hawks, and the Toronto Raptors. However, he never found a permanent home in the NBA. In 2013, Rautins joined the Canadian National Team, and played for them in the FIBA Americas Championship in 2013 and 2015. He was also a member of the Canadian team that competed in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
Following his basketball playing career, Rautins turned to coaching. He served as an assistant coach for the Erie BayHawks of the NBA G League in 2018-2019, before being promoted to head coach for the 2019-2020 season. In 2020, he was hired as an assistant coach for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA G League. Rautins is widely regarded as a knowledgeable and experienced basketball mind, and is considered one of the top up-and-coming coaches in the game today.
