Ante Zizic is a Croatian basketball player who was born on January 4, 1997. He began his professional career in 2013, playing for KK Split in the Croatian League. The following year, he transferred to Cedevita Zagreb, where he won the Croatian Cup in 2015 and the Croatian League championship in 2016. In 2016, Zizic was drafted by the Boston Celtics as the 23rd overall pick in the first round.
Zizic made his NBA debut with the Celtics during the 2017-2018 season, playing in 32 games and averaging 1.6 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. He also played 25 games with the Maine Red Claws of the NBA G League, where he averaged 16.0 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. In 2018, he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he played for two seasons, increasing his production each year. During the 2019-2020 season, he had his best season, averaging 4.4 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.
Zizic decided to return to Europe for the 2020-2021 season, signing with Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel. He has continued to develop his game, playing a key role in his team's success.
