Anthony Davis Autographs
Anthony Davis is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. He was born on March 11, 1993 in Chicago, Illinois. Davis was a standout basketball player during his high school career and he was heavily recruited by several college basketball programs. He ultimately decided to attend the University of Kentucky and play for head coach John Calipari.
During his freshman year at Kentucky, Davis helped lead the Wildcats to a national championship. He was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four and was also the unanimous national player of the year. After that season, Davis declared for the NBA Draft and was selected as the first overall pick by the New Orleans Hornets (now the Pelicans). During his rookie season, Davis immediately showed why he was the number one pick. He averaged 13.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game and was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team.
In the years since his rookie season, Davis has established himself as one of the best players in the NBA. He has been named an All-Star numerous times, and he also won a gold medal with Team USA in the 2012 Olympics. In 2019, Davis was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers to team up with LeBron James. In his first season with the Lakers, Davis helped the team win a championship and was named Finals MVP. Davis is widely regarded as one of the most talented and versatile players in the NBA and his basketball career is far from over.
