Austin Croshere Autographs
Austin Croshere, born on May 1, 1975, is an American former professional basketball player. He played at the collegiate level for Providence College before being selected by the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the 1997 NBA Draft, 12th overall. After being drafted, Croshere played for the Pacers for nine seasons and became known for his 3-point shooting ability and versatile style of play. He was an integral part of the Pacers' playoff runs in the late 1990s and early 2000s, helping the team reach the NBA Finals in 2000.
Throughout his NBA career, Croshere was known for his hard work, dedication, and versatility as a forward. He spent time with six different teams and finished his career with a reputation as a consistent role player who could stretch the floor with his shooting ability. Croshere's best season came in 2000-2001 when he averaged 10.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game for the Pacers. After retiring from the NBA in 2009, Croshere moved into broadcasting, working as an analyst for both the Pacers and the Big Ten Network. He has also been active in philanthropic efforts, including founding the Austin Croshere Foundation, which supports education initiatives in Indianapolis. Today, Croshere is remembered as a hard-working and versatile forward who was an important part of several successful Pacers teams, and as a beloved figure in the Indianapolis community.
