Brian Grant Autographs
Brian Grant is a former professional basketball player who was born on March 5, 1972, in Columbus, Ohio. He played eight seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a power forward and center. Brian kicked off his basketball journey by playing for Georgetown Hoyas, where he earned the title of the Big East Conference Player of the Year. In the 1994 NBA draft, the Sacramento Kings picked him in the first round as the eighth overall pick.
Brian Grant played for five different teams throughout his NBA career. He represented Sacramento Kings from 1994 to 1997 and then the Portland Trail Blazers from 1997 to 2000. He had his best seasons for the Miami Heat, where he played from 2000 to 2004, and helped them reach the Eastern Conference Semifinals in 2000-01 seasons. He then went on to play for the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns, where he finished his career in 2006.
Brian is known for his toughness and relentless energy on both ends of the floor during his playing days. He was a two-time NBA All-Defensive Second Team in the 1999-2000 and 2000-01 seasons. He retired from the NBA in 2006 after playing 748 games, in which he averaged 10.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Brian's legacy in the NBA is that of a tenacious defender and a superb rebounder who played for the love of the game, and his contributions will never be forgotten by the fans.
