Brian Skinner Autographs
Brian Skinner was born on May 19, 1976, in Temple City, California. He is an American retired professional basketball player. Skinner played for 10 different NBA teams during his 15-year career in the league. He attended the Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he played basketball and football. Skinner then went on to play college basketball at Baylor University, where he averaged 12.4 points and 8.2 rebounds per game in two seasons.
Skinner was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round, 22nd overall, of the 1998 NBA draft. He played for the Clippers for four seasons and became known for his shot-blocking abilities and rebounding skills. Over the course of his career, Skinner played for several different teams, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks, Portland Trail Blazers, and Memphis Grizzlies. Throughout his 15 years in the league, Skinner played in 643 games, scored 2,272 points, and grabbed 2,747 rebounds.
After retiring from playing basketball, Skinner turned his attention to coaching. He spent three seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Portland before joining the Memphis Grizzlies coaching staff in 2017. Skinner's basketball career was marked by his hard work, dedication, and strong defensive skills. Today, he is remembered as a talented and formidable player who made important contributions to the teams he played for over the course of his long and successful career.
