After college, Booth was drafted in the second round of the 1999 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards. He played for several NBA teams throughout his career, including the Dallas Mavericks, Seattle SuperSonics, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, and the Sacramento Kings. Booth was primarily known for his defensive abilities as a shot-blocker, and he was often utilized as a reserve center coming off the bench.
Throughout his career in the NBA, Booth averaged 4.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game. He played in a total of 532 games over the course of 10 seasons, showcasing his longevity and consistency in the league. Calvin Booth is now retired from professional basketball and holds several executive positions in the NBA, including serving as the Vice President of Basketball Operations for the Denver Nuggets.
