Chris Ford, born on January 11, 1949, was an American professional basketball player and coach. He was known for his excellent three-point shooting, a skill that later earned him the nickname "The Boston Strangler" during his tenure with the Boston Celtics. More about Chris Ford

Ford's basketball career began at the University of Villanova, where he played as a guard from 1968 to 1972. During his college years, he emerged as a star player and was selected by the Detroit Pistons during the second round of the 1972 NBA draft.
