Craig Hodges Autographs
Craig Hodges is a former professional basketball player who played for various teams in the National Basketball Association (NBA) between 1982 and 1992. He was born on June 27, 1960, in Park Forest, Illinois, and grew up in the Chicagoland area. Hodges played college basketball for Long Beach State from 1978-1982, where he led the team in scoring during his senior year and was named the conference Player of the Year.
Hodges is best known for his three-point-shooting prowess. He set multiple records during NBA All-Star Weekend Three-Point Contests, winning the event three times in a row from 1990 through 1992. Hodges also holds the records for most consecutive shots made in a Three-Point Contest (19), most points scored in a single round (25), and most points scored in a final round (24). During his NBA career, he played for the San Diego Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix Suns, Chicago Bulls, and Los Angeles Lakers, and won two NBA championships with the Bulls in 1991 and 1992.
In addition to his playing career, Hodges has also made a significant impact in coaching and activism. He served as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers and the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the NBA G League, and has been an advocate for social justice causes throughout his life. Hodges was a strong supporter of Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X, and Nelson Mandela, and has been an advocate for African American athletes using their platform to speak out against systemic oppression.
