Dale Ellis Autographs
Dale Ellis is a retired American professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 17 years. He was born on August 6, 1960, in Marietta, Georgia, and he attended the University of Tennessee. Ellis was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1983 NBA Draft, where he played for four seasons before moving to the Seattle SuperSonics.
Ellis had a remarkable basketball career, and he was known as one of the best shooting guards in the league. He was a three-time NBA All-Star and won the NBA Most Improved Player award in 1987. In 1989, he led the league in three-point field goal percentage, shooting an incredible 47.8%. He also set a record for the most points in a single game by a Seattle SuperSonics player when he scored 53 points in a game against the Milwaukee Bucks in November 1989.
In addition to playing for the Dallas Mavericks and the Seattle SuperSonics, Ellis also played for the Milwaukee Bucks, the San Antonio Spurs, the Denver Nuggets, and the Charlotte Hornets. He retired from the NBA in 2000, finishing his career with a total of 19,004 points, 3,764 rebounds, and 1,719 assists. Ellis is considered one of the most talented players in the history of the NBA, and he remains an influential figure in the basketball community to this day.
