Dan Dickau Autographs
Dan Dickau was born in 1978 in Portland, Oregon, and started playing basketball at a young age. He attended Prairie High School in Washington, where he was an outstanding high school athlete. After graduating, he went on to play college basketball at the University of Washington, where he quickly made a name for himself. He was named first-team All-Pac-10 and All-American, leading his team to the NCAA tournament.
After college, Dickau was drafted in the first round of the 2002 NBA draft by the Sacramento Kings, but he was soon traded to the Atlanta Hawks. He spent the next few years bouncing around the NBA, playing for various teams such as the Portland Trail Blazers, the New Orleans Hornets, and the Los Angeles Clippers. It wasn't until he was traded to the Boston Celtics in 2005 that he's able to showcase his skills. In his short stint with the team, he averaged 12.7 points per game and shot 42.5% from beyond the arc.
Dickau's professional career continued overseas, where he played for several teams in Spain, Russia, and Israel. However, in 2011, he retired from professional basketball and has since worked as a college basketball analyst for ESPN. Despite his brief stint in the NBA, Dickau is remembered as one of the most talented basketball players of his generation. He had a remarkable college career and showed flashes of brilliance during his time in the NBA.
