Dave Corzine Autographs
Dave Corzine is a former American professional basketball player who played in the NBA for 13 seasons. Born on April 25, 1956, in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Corzine went to Elgin High School where he played basketball. He later attended DePaul University in Chicago where he continued to play basketball and was part of the team that won the National Invitation Tournament in 1979.
After graduating from DePaul, Corzine was selected by the Washington Bullets in the first round of the 1978 NBA draft. He played for the Bullets for two seasons before he was traded to the Chicago Bulls in 1980. With the Bulls, Corzine played as a Center and was known for his rebounding abilities and pulled down 8.2 rebounds per game during his tenure with the team. He also held a career high 27 points in a game against the Utah Jazz in 1983. Corzine played for the Bulls for eight seasons before playing for the San Antonio Spurs, Seattle SuperSonics, and Orlando Magic before retiring in 1991.
During his 13-year NBA career, Corzine played in 831 games and scored a total of 6,531 points. He averaged 7.9 points per game, 5.0 rebounds per game, and 2.4 assists per game throughout his career in the NBA. Corzine was known for his hard work and dedication to the game, which is why he was a valuable player on the court. Today, he remains an active member of the Chicago Bulls Alumni Association, continues to be involved in basketball-related activities, and is a beloved figure in Chicago’s basketball community.
