Dave Robisch Autographs
Dave Robisch is a retired American professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for over a decade. He was born on December 22, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri. Robisch attended The University of Kansas, where he played college basketball from 1969 to 1971. He was known for his incredible shooting and rebounding skills. Robisch was drafted in the first round of the 1971 NBA Draft with the 21st overall pick by the Boston Celtics.
Robisch played for several NBA teams during his career, including the Celtics, Indiana Pacers, Phoenix Suns, and the Denver Nuggets. He became the first-ever Pacers player to reach 1,000 points in a single season. Robisch's most successful seasons were with the Nuggets, where he played from 1978 to 1984. He was an essential piece of the 1984 team that made it to the Western Conference Finals. During his time with the Nuggets, Robisch was known as a defensive player and a scorer, averaging 12.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
After retiring from the NBA in 1985, Robisch began coaching for Wichita State University in Kansas. He spent 13 seasons as an assistant coach and was known for his focus on the development of players while also being a strict disciplinarian. In 2013, Robisch retired from coaching and returned to his hometown, St. Louis, where he currently resides with his family. Throughout his career, Robisch showed his incredible skills on the court and proved himself to be a valuable team player, both on and off the court.
