David Wesley Autographs
David Wesley is an American former professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 14 seasons. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, in 1970, and grew up in nearby Castle Hills. Wesley’s early passion for basketball led to him playing for the Castle Hills First Baptist High School team, where he displayed his remarkable talent and earned a basketball scholarship to the University of Baylor.
In college, Wesley shone as a shooting guard and quickly became a top scorer for the team. Following a solid college career, he was selected 68th overall in the 1992 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets. Wesley’s NBA debut was with the Nets, where he played from 1993 to 1997, before being traded to the Boston Celtics. It was with the Celtics that Wesley truly blossomed into a standout player, averaging over 17 points per game in his first season. He spent nine seasons with the Celtics, showcasing his fine shooting ability, athleticism, and solid basketball IQ. Later, he played two seasons with the Houston Rockets and one year with the Charlotte Bobcats before retiring in 2007. Wesley ended his career with 11,842 points, 3,175 assists, and 2,141 rebounds in 958 games.

He was known for his incredible speed, great ball-handling skills, and ability to hit the three-point shot consistently. He was a diligent player who went about his business silently but effectively.
