Davon Reed is an American professional basketball player born on June 11, 1995, in Ewing, New Jersey. He attended Princeton Day School in New Jersey and became a highly recruited guard in high school. In his senior year, he led his team to the New Jersey Non-Public B state title and was named the state's Player of the Year. Reed’s college career at Miami was impressive as he started all four years and improved every season. He averaged 14.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2 assists per game in his senior year, helping the Hurricanes qualify for the NCAA tournament. In the 2017 NBA draft, Reed was selected in the second round, 32nd overall, by the Phoenix Suns. He played most of his rookie season with the Northern Arizona Suns, Phoenix's G League affiliate, before making his NBA debut in February 2018.
