Davon Reed Autographs
Davon Reed is an American professional basketball player born on June 11, 1995, in Ewing, New Jersey. He attended Princeton Day School in New Jersey and became a highly recruited guard in high school. In his senior year, he led his team to the New Jersey Non-Public B state title and was named the state's Player of the Year. Reed's impressive high school career caught the attention of several colleges, but he eventually chose to attend the University of Miami.
Reed’s college career at Miami was impressive as he started all four years and improved every season. He averaged 14.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2 assists per game in his senior year, helping the Hurricanes qualify for the NCAA tournament. In the 2017 NBA draft, Reed was selected in the second round, 32nd overall, by the Phoenix Suns. He played most of his rookie season with the Northern Arizona Suns, Phoenix's G League affiliate, before making his NBA debut in February 2018. He was a key rotational player for the Suns, averaging 3.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 0.7 assists in 21 games.
Reed’s career continued to progress and he was traded to the Indiana Pacers in 2019. At the end of the season, he signed a two-way contract with the Phoenix Suns, allowing him to split his time between the NBA and their G League affiliate. Reed continued to work hard and eventually signed a two-year contract with the Suns in January 2021. He is currently playing a key role in the team's rotation, averaging 5.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game during the 2020-2021 season. Despite facing challenges throughout his career, Davon Reed has shown immense resilience and continues to demonstrate his passion for basketball.
