Dee Brown is a former professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 12 seasons. Brown was born on November 29, 1968, in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended the University of Illinois, where he played for the Fighting Illini men's basketball team from 1987 to 1990. In 1990, Brown was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the first round of the NBA draft. He played for the Celtics for seven seasons, where he was known for his explosive dunks and his signature "no-look" dunk, which he famously performed in the 1991 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Brown was also an excellent three-point shooter, and he led the NBA in three-point shooting percentage in the 1994-95 season.
