Dino Radja Autographs
Dino Radja was a Croatian professional basketball player born on April 24, 1967. Radja's successful journey in basketball began in his early teens when he joined the youth team of his hometown club, Borovo. In 1985, he moved to KK Bosna Sarajevo, where he won the Yugoslav League and was named the Best Young Player of the Year. Later, Radja played for Jugoplastika Split and made history by winning three consecutive European Championships from 1989 to 1991. Dino Radja was also a part of the Yugoslavian national team that won gold in the 1989 European Championships and the 1990 FIBA World Championship.
In 1993, Dino Radja was drafted into the NBA by the Boston Celtics, where he played from 1993 to 1997. During his stint with the Celtics, he averaged 16.7 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Radja proved himself as a versatile power forward, who could shoot from outside, pass well, and score from the post. He was a two-time NBA All-Star and played three seasons with the Croatian National team in the 1992 Olympic Games, where he won a silver medal, and in the 1996 Olympic Games.
After his basket career, Radja went back to Europe, playing two seasons in Italy, and retiring in 2003. Radja's name was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2007, and his jersey number 7 was retired by KK Split in 2008. With his all-around skills and exceptional basketball IQ, Dino Radja remains one of the greatest basketball players Croatia has ever produced. He showed that his talent, passion, and dedication could make a significant impact on the game of basketball.
