Dorell Wright Autographs
Dorell Wright is a former professional basketball player who was born on December 2, 1985, in Los Angeles California. He is known for his excellent shooting and rebounding skills that made him a valuable asset to any team he played for. Wright began his basketball career at South Kent School in Connecticut, where he was named to the All-New England Preparatory School Athletic Council team. He also won the MVP award in the 2004 McDonald's High School All-American Game.
Wright was drafted into the NBA by the Miami Heat in 2004 after playing only one year in college at the University of South California. He played his rookie year with the Heat before moving to the Golden State Warriors, where he had his most successful season in 2010. That year, Wright broke Donyell Marshall's record for the most three-pointers made in a season by a player as he made 194 three-point field goals. Wright’s career-best year led him to win several awards, including the NBA Most Improved Player Award.
Over the course of his 11-year career, Wright played for six different teams, with his last stop being in 2017 with the Leones de Ponce in Puerto Rico. Although he is no longer actively playing, Wright’s basketball career highlights remain impressive, including his excellent shooting and rebounding skills. He retired with a career scoring average of 8.4 points per game, three rebounds per game, and 1.5 assists per game. Despite the end of his playing career, Wright remains a well-respected and revered figure in the basketball world, remembered for his strong work ethic and unrelenting spirit on the court.
