Eduardo Najera Autographs
Eduardo Najera was born on July 11, 1976, in Chihuahua, Mexico. He grew up playing basketball and started playing professionally in 1999. Najera had an impressive college basketball career at the University of Oklahoma, where he played from 1997 until 2000. In his senior year, he was named the Big 12 Player of the Year and also led his team to the NCAA Final Four. Najera ended his college career with an average of 15.1 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
In 2000, Najera was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the second round, as the 38th overall pick. He played for the Mavericks for three seasons and was known for his defensive skills and hard work on the court. In 2003, he was traded to the Golden State Warriors, where he played for a season before signing with the Denver Nuggets. Najera continued playing for the Nuggets for several seasons, where he was a key player off the bench.
In 2011, Najera retired from the NBA and started coaching. He became the head coach of the Texas Legends, a team in the NBA Development League, and led them to the championship in his second season. Najera also worked as an assistant coach for the Dallas Mavericks and the Brooklyn Nets. Throughout his basketball career, Eduardo Najera was known for his tenacity, hard work, and leadership both on and off the court.
