Elliot Perry Autographs
Elliot Perry was born on March 22, 1969, in Memphis, Tennessee. An exceptional basketball player from an early age, Perry attended the University of Memphis where he played for the Memphis Tigers from 1987 to 1991. He was a standout player during his college career, earning First-Team All-Conference USA honors in his senior year. In 1991, Perry was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round of the NBA draft, where he began his professional career.
Perry spent 10 seasons in the NBA, playing for several teams including the Clippers, Charlotte Hornets, Phoenix Suns, and Orlando Magic. He was known for his quickness, ball-handling skills, and defensive prowess. He also became a fan favorite due to his relentless work ethic and hard-nosed mentality on the court. Perry retired from the NBA in 2002 with career averages of 7.6 points, 3.1 assists, and 1.5 rebounds per game.
Perry's basketball success continued long after his NBA career ended. He became involved in the Memphis basketball community, coaching youth teams and running basketball camps. In 2011, Perry was hired as the Director of Player Support Services for the Memphis Grizzlies, a position he held until 2019. He was responsible for helping players adjust to life in the NBA and providing support for their off-court needs. Perry's contributions to the Grizzlies organization were integral to the team's success during their playoff runs in the mid-2010s. His dedication to basketball both on and off the court has made him a beloved figure in Memphis and beyond.
