Frank Brickowski Autographs
Frank Brickowski is a retired American basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 12 seasons. Born on August 14, 1959, in Bay City, Michigan, Frank began his basketball career at Pennsylvania State University, where he played from 1977 to 1981. After his college career, he was selected 57th overall by the New York Knicks in the 1981 NBA Draft. However, he did not play for the Knicks and opted to play for the Albany Patroons of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA).
Frank Brickowski's NBA career began in 1982 when he signed with the San Antonio Spurs. He played for six different NBA teams throughout his career, but is perhaps best known for his time with the Seattle SuperSonics from 1993 to 1997. During his time with the Sonics, Brickowski was a crucial player in the team's success, helping them reach the NBA Finals in 1996. Throughout his career, he was known for his tough and gritty style of play, leading to multiple confrontations with other players on the court. Brickowski retired from the NBA in 1997, finishing his career with over 6000 points and 3200 rebounds.
After retiring from basketball, Frank Brickowski worked as a television analyst for the Milwaukee Bucks and continued to stay involved with basketball as a coach and mentor for young players. Brickowski was inducted into the Bay County Sports Hall of Fame in 2003, and in 2010, he received the Penn State Distinguished Alumni Award. Throughout his career, Frank Brickowski was known for his tenacity and grit on the court, which made him an integral part of every team he played for.
