After graduating from high school, Davis attended Louisiana State University (LSU), where he played for the LSU Tigers from 2004-2007. He was a key player during his time at LSU and helped the team reach the Final Four in 2006. During his junior year, Davis was named the Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Tournament's Atlanta Regional, where he led LSU to a victory over Texas. Following his junior year, Davis announced his decision to enter the NBA draft, where he was selected 35th overall by the Seattle SuperSonics. However, he was quickly traded to the Boston Celtics, where he played for four seasons and helped the team win the NBA championship in 2008.

Throughout his professional basketball career, Glen Davis was known for his powerful physique and fearless play on the court. He played a key role in the Celtics' championship run in 2008, providing a strong defensive presence and scoring critical points throughout the postseason. Despite some ups and downs throughout his career, Davis was respected by his teammates and coaches for his toughness and competitiveness. Ultimately, he retired from professional basketball in 2018, after playing for teams such as the Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Clippers.
