Glen Davis is a former American professional basketball player who played for the Boston Celtics, the Orlando Magic, and the Los Angeles Clippers. Davis was born on January 1, 1986, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He began his basketball career in high school, where he played for the University Laboratory School in Baton Rouge. After graduating from high school, Davis attended Louisiana State University (LSU), where he played for the LSU Tigers from 2004-2007. He was a key player during his time at LSU and helped the team reach the Final Four in 2006. During his junior year, Davis was named the Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Tournament's Atlanta Regional, where he led LSU to a victory over Texas. Following his junior year, Davis announced his decision to enter the NBA draft, where he was selected 35th overall by the Seattle SuperSonics.
