James Posey Autographs
James Posey is a former professional basketball player who played in the NBA for 12 seasons. He was born on January 13, 1977, in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended Xavier University where he played college basketball from 1996-1999. He was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in the 1st round of the 1999 NBA Draft as the 18th overall pick.
Posey played for several teams during his career, including the Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, New Orleans Hornets, and Indiana Pacers. He was known for his versatile play style, as he could play both small forward and power forward positions. He was also known for his defensive skills and his ability to hit clutch shots in important games.
Posey won two NBA Championships during his career, both with the Boston Celtics in 2008 and the Miami Heat in 2006. He played a crucial role in both championship runs, helping the Celtics defeat the rival Los Angeles Lakers in the 2008 NBA Finals. After retiring from the league in 2011, Posey went on to become an assistant coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2013 and now serves as an assistant coach for the College of Charleston.
