Jeff Malone Autographs
Jeff Malone is a retired American basketball player born on June 28, 1961, in Summerfield, Louisiana. He attended Mississippi State University, where he played college basketball from 1979 to 1983. While at Mississippi State, Malone was a two-time All-American and finished his college career scoring 2,142 points.
After college, Malone was selected as the 10th overall pick in the 1983 NBA Draft by the Washington Bullets, now known as the Washington Wizards. He played for the Bullets for six years, from 1983 to 1989, and became a three-time NBA All-Star in 1985, 1986, and 1987. He was also named the NBA's Most Improved Player in 1984-1985. In 1989, he was traded to the Utah Jazz, where he played for four years, from 1989-1993. Malone then joined the Philadelphia 76ers in 1993 and played his final NBA season with the Miami Heat in 1995.
Throughout his NBA career, Malone was known for his exceptional shooting skills, and he finished his career with a scoring average of 19.0 points per game. In addition, he was selected as one of the 50 Greatest Players in Mississippi State University's history, and his jersey No. 24 was retired by the university in 1996. Malone's legacy in basketball is still remembered today, and he will always be remembered as one of the NBA's greatest shooting guards.
